World Cup corruption findings to be released in November

FIFA's ethics chairman will release his findings into the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bidding contests next month, without making the investigation report public.

FUT Coins has been under pressure to release prosecutor Michael Garcia's report into the bid process that led to the awarding of the 2018 World Cup to Russia and the 2022 tournament to Qatar. Garcia called last month for "appropriate publication" from the 430 pages of evidence reports submitted by his investigative team to ethics chairman Joachim Eckert.

But Eckert said publishing the report would put FIFA and its ethics committee "in a very difficult situation legally," and instead pledged to release a statement after assessing the documents by mid-November.

"The statement will contain an overview of the investigation report, a summary of the main findings, conclusions and recommendations of the report, as well as a brief evaluation of the same," Eckert said in an interview published Friday on FIFA's website.

With FIFA's reputation badly damaged by the lingering fallout from the World Cup bid votes in 2010 by its executive committee, leading executives wanted the Garcia report published.

But FIFA is citing its ethics code to prevent that from happening.

"We have to respect the personal rights of the people mentioned in the report, which in the case of full publication of the report would in all likelihood not be possible," Eckert said. "The main requirement is that personal rights must not be damaged."

Several voters in the 2010 contest have since resigned from FIFA while under investigation for financial wrongdoing, and others have been subject to accusations of seeking favours.

Mohamed bin Hammam, who was later expelled from world football over financial wrongdoing, has been accused by Britain's Sunday Times newspaper of buying influence for Qatar's 2022 bid. Qatar has denied corruption allegations and said the former Asian Football Confederation president played no role in its bid committee.

whose general secretary Theo van Seggelen took part in the meeting

The European Clubs’ Association, seeking as little disruption to the traditional European calendar as possible, suggested last week that April/May would cause less disruption to the club season and that temperatures during that period would not be hotter than at some previous World Cups provided matches were played in the evening.

Qatar was awarded the competition on the basis that it would be staged in June/July using naturally cooled stadiums to alleviate the effects of the desert heat.

Despite this, there is widespread agreement that the tournament should be held in cooler months.

FUT 15 Coins said that its chief medical officer Jiri Dvorak provided a report on the medical concerns related to player safety and fan safety if the World Cup were to be held between May and September.

Valcke also highlighted that “the month-long period of Ramadan would begin on 2 April in 2022, which would have an impact on a number of players in their preparations for any April/May option.”

FIFPro, whose general secretary Theo van Seggelen took part in the meeting, said it would not accept any decision which risked the players’ health.

“The health and safety of the players is non-negotiable. While we understand the concerns of those whose competitions will be affected, FIFPro will not be swayed to endorse a World Cup that puts the health of the players at risk,” it said in a statement.

“Staging a World Cup in and around the oppressive summer months of Qatar is simply not an option. It is a huge health risk that no responsible stakeholder should be willing to take.”

“What we see now in discussions between the various stakeholders is not healthy for the game,” added FIFPro.

Football delegates from France, South Korea hand in bids to FIFA for 2019 women's World Cup

Football delegates from France and South Korea have handed over their bid documents to FUT 15 Coins for the 2019 women's World Cup.

France and South Korea are also bidding for the 2018 under-20 women's World Cup, with FIFA's executive committee to decide on one winner for both competitions in March.

FIFA 15 IOS Coins's Sepp Blatter says "I'm a very happy President to see these two big football nations competing for these two women's competitions.

Blatter noted how both nations recently hosted the men's World Cup — France in 1998 and South Korea in 2002 with Japan.

Blatter says "it's really great to see now their interest shifting towards women's competition. ... I'm really confident that either will be fantastic organizers."

Next year's women's World Cup will be held in Canada.MORE:Runescape 2007 Gold

Watch this Arsenal starlet score a classic Fifa finesse goal v Stoke

Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles has proved that those finesse shots that go in all the time on FUT Coins aren’t as unrealistic as they may seem.

The 17-year-old stole possession in the middle of the pitch before curling the ball round the keeper from distance with a textbook R1-button finish.

The goal helped the Gunners on their way to a 3-0 win over the Potters, and whilst it wasn’t a wet, cold and/or windy weeknight, Maitland-Niles has proved that he can indeed do it in Stoke.MORE:Fifa 15 xobx coins

The main FIFA 15 changes from a gameplay perspective come with the goalkeepers and the shooting

The main  FUT 15 Coins changes from a gameplay perspective come with the goalkeepers and the shooting. Goalkeepers are supposed to have new animations, reactions and be “next-gen.” Well, if by next-gen EA Canada means that they’re superhero-like the one minute and completely incompetent the next, then mission accomplished. It’s almost as if the shooting has been revamped to cater for these new goalkeepers as well, who on numerous occasions I beat from 30 plus yards with a floaty top corner shot. Did they shuffle back and try and save it? No. More often than not they just stood still and watched it go over their heads like a cat with a yarn of wool dangling above their head would do.

Runescape 2007 Gold, shiny new menus hide a distinct lack of new modes--that's FIFA 15 in a microcosm. Not that there's anything extra EA could possibly cram in. Career lets you manage or play with anyone, from Bursapor to Shrewsbury. Highlights of the Week let you relive recent high-profile games. Match Day alters player stats based on real world form, and Match Day Live gives you a stream of stats and stories based on a team of your choice. In Career, these stories are tailored to your own team. Enquire about a transfer and the media will sniff out the story; score with Di María on his debut and you can read about him starting with a bang. FIFA's growing relationship with the real thing makes you feel more connected than ever, whether you carve through mountains of text or merely catch it in your periphery.

As for Ultimate Team, a football sim Top Trumps hybrid and the franchise’s most popular game mode, many of the old truths remain. The gameplay is faster and more arcade-like than in the other modes, and the defenders seem more error-prone. As a consequence, this encourages online players to adopt an ugly, high-pressure, route one style of football, with an over-reliance on lofted through balls to a fast striker lurking on the shoulders of the defence – simply because this tactic is so effective. Ultimate Team is a still a fun and addictive game mode, but the beautiful game it ain’t.

It’s not perfect, but FIFA 15 is the most exciting FIFA for a couple of years. A drift away from realistic defence towards more aggressive forward play replaces stolid midfield battles with end-to-end drama, and we still get all the great modes – including a stronger career mode and Ultimate Team – that gave FIFA 14 strength in depth. Most of all we get exceptional graphics and presentation, which make FIFA IOS Coins  look even more like the real deal on TV.

Torres leads Chivas USA with 14 goals and is fourth in the league

The stars of Major League Soccer (MLS) were out in full force Thursday night at the MLS and EA Sports FUT 15 Coins launch party held in New York City, with the league showcasing their "MLS Next" talent and their brand new logo.

The Seattle Sounders' Clint Dempsey and DeAndre Yedlin, the New York Red Bulls' Tim Cahill and league scoring leader Brad Wright-Phillips, the Philadelphia Unions' Maurice Edu, and NYCFC's David Villa all made appearances with the league revealing their new logo as MLS prepares to celebrate their 20th anniversary next season.

"As we celebrate all that our players represent, as we celebrate the commitment and all of the resources that our owners have put forward to make our league what it is today, as we celebrate the fact that we will break our sell-out record for this year and have over six million fans attend our games and millions more who will be watching on television, it's time for us to launch Major League Soccer with a new brand," MLS Commissioner Don Garber said. "A new brand that represents the character, a new brand that represents the core of values of our league going forward. Those core values will be represented in the three stars that you will see in the new logo; our commitment to club, our commitment to country, and our commitment to community,"

Torres leads Chivas USA with 14 goals and is fourth in the league, tied with LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane, in the chase for the MLS scoring title. Torres also is having an incredible run playing in Los Angeles, becoming MLS's all-time Mexican-born scoring leader, as well as tying Ante Razov's Chivas USA record for most goals in a season. He is third on the team's all-time scoring list.

"I love playing in Los Angeles," Torres said to the Latin Post at the Fifa 15 xobx coins launch party. "Los Angeles has been good to me. It's great playing in front of fans who have been so supportive, and I have enjoyed how the Mexican community has embraced me. It's been an honor to be one of the young players in this league."

Torres came on Old School RS Gold as a "Designated Player" -- done by a rule which allows MLS franchises to spend over the $3.1 million salary cap in signing players to contracts over the league maximum salary or paying for transfer fees that allow for the league and clubs to compete for talent on the international soccer player market.

MLS teams have used the "Designated Player" rule to not only bring in players like Cahill, Keane, Villa, Kaka (who will play with the Orlando City Soccer Lions when they launch next season) and Thierry Henry, but also to bring back U.S. Men's National Team players such as Dempsey, Edu, Toronto FC's Michael Bradley and New England Revolution's Jermaine Jones.

Rodgers frustrated with poor defending

Fifa 15 xobx coins lamented Liverpool's "poor" defending after the Reds crashed to a 1-0 Champions League defeat against Basel. The Swiss side had beaten Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham in the last four years and added the Merseysiders to their list of scalps as Marco Streller scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute.

Liverpool manager Rodgers felt his side played well enough to get something from the game but let themselves down by failing to deal with Basel's set pieces.

FUT Coins defended very, very poorly on the corner and it's not the first time so it's very, very disappointing we couldn't get something from the game and the game was decided by a poor defensive corner," he told Sky Sports.
